It has taken a long time for the redesign of Herald Homes to hit the shelves. The project began in November 2018 and for the most part, was ready for launch in March 2019. It finally went live in October 2019.

Herald Homes is a newspaper inserted magazine with three weekly editions on a Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Each follows the same sort of format, but has a slightly different slant. Wednesday is urban, suburban and city dwelling, Saturday is premium property and Sunday more lifestyle oriented.

It has been a comprehensive redesign and rebranding exercise. Now OneRoof. Commercially this product is one of the most important, if not the most important of all of NZME’s inserted magazines, which is why the project has not been rushed through.

Reaction to the new look has been very positive. It is now fresh and modern and completely in line with the OneRoof brand.
